The Over The Hill Night Riders Club was organized as a Minnesota Corporation in 1987 by a group of energetic local snowmobilers.

People often ask “Why Over The Hill?”  The name came from the original members. They typically rode their sleds “over the hill” which referred to Hermantown from Duluth.

Originally referred to as “The Missing Link”, the trail is approximately 56 miles long.  It connects the Munger Trail in West Duluth to the Resevoir Rider trail at Fish Lake and subsequently to the North Shore State Trail.  Our trail is a Grant-In-Aid trail by virtue of obtaining permits of local land owners and is maintained by volunteer members of the club.

This club meets every third Thursday of each month at our clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.  New members are always welcome!  We ask that you treat our trails with respect for the property owners and obey the signs as you travel through our scenic community.

Please contact us if you see any issues.
